We seek an experienced Full-time Senior Resilience Officer with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team. You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of Shift Supervisors and the Area Managers. In your day to day role as a Senior Resilience Officer, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing professional security guarding services with the goal of protecting client personnel and property. You will perform all duties in accordance with Surefox and client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations.

Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests in a timely manner. Under certain circumstances, a Senior Resilience Officer will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal client and company issues. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail as well as being highly dependable. A Senior Resilience Officer will also be expected to provide top-tier customer service when interacting with personnel on our client campuses, and will therefore be expected to have great communication skills. The compensation rate for this position is $22.00 per hour

What You Will Do: 

  • Provide access control operations, including verifying proper ID and credentials

  • This is a standing post

  • Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site

  • Liaise with first responder personnel if and when there is an emergency

  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits

  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property

  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities

  • Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner

  • Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy

  • Break relief for fellow officers according to defined break schedules in compliance with State/Municipality requirements

  • Conduct briefing and debriefing for any upcoming shifts and off going shifts during your scheduled shift 

  • Coordinate with any additional supervisors from Surefox and other security teams to ensure that all information, both Area and Site specific, is being reviewed with all officers

  • Ensure all post equipment is signed out to the correct officers prior to them going to post, and that all equipment is signed back in before the departure of each officer 

  • Conduct inspections of the equipment upon check out and check in 

  • Ensure that officers have the necessary information available to them to be able to perform their essential duties/role 

  • Ensure team members have access to Workday and can properly manage their times and breaks throughout the day, as well as have access to the following items on their work phone for their assigned post:

    • Post Orders & Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) 

    • Passdown Logs 

    • BOLO Deck

    • Metrics Recorder 

    • DARs 

    • Breaker Schedule (if necessary) 

    • Ping (if necessary) 

    • Other GSuite or program approved apps required to fulfill daily duties.

  • Ensure employee break schedules are maintained in compliance with federal and state regulations. 


 

What is Required: 

  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States

  • Must have or be in the process of obtaining a current Unarmed, Uniformed Guard Card in your state of residence

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines

  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws, regulations or codes)

  • Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate

  • Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/ First aid certification from a recognized certification authority

  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member 

What is desired: 

  • Experience as a security officer or in a security-related position

  • Security or law enforcement related experience preferred

  • Military background is a plus

  • Report writing experience preferred
