What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-SOAS Sensitive Activities Advisor (Signature Reduction SME), you will support the Department of Air Force and the office of the Secretary of the Air Force in their efforts to manage the USAF signature reduction program.
More About the Role:
You will embed with and advise the office of the Secretary of the US Air Force on all aspects of Signature Reduction. The Signature Reduction Subject Matter Expert shall provide technical expertise and administrative services in the following lines of effort:
- The SR SME supports all aspects of SR activities involving the planning and execution of sensitive operations
- Supports by drafting and maintaining SR policy; reviewing SR Program documents; reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other required regulatory documents to ensure compliance with U.S. law and Department of Defense (DoD) polices and regulations
- Drafts or assists government lead in planning and submitting SR plans, annexes, amendments, and all supporting staffing documentation to obtain approvals
- Provides subject matter expertise during training events, conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings to support mission planning objectives and directed tasks
- Prepares due diligence assessments and reviews of operational SR Plans
- Supports and manages the implementation of SR plans in accordance with directives and policies
- Advises government lead on issues affecting SR programs by presenting mission briefs, and formal staffing memorandums
- Maintains all required records, responds to requests for input, and prepares research papers
- Conducts technical supportability reviews for submitted SR Plans, requirements, and amending/supporting documents
- Utilizes liaison contacts and national intelligence databases/reporting systems to maintain situational awareness of operations
- Advises the government lead on emerging technologies, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes that may impact SR programs and proposes solutions to solve emerging issues
- Ability to communication effectively, both orally and in writing, which is a mandatory skill to function as a fully qualified SR SME at all assigned levels.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance, willingness to submit to a CI Poly.
- More than three years of specialized experience in military or IC compartmented or sensitive activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, and Signature Reduction).
- Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and four-month deployments to OCONUS locations.
- You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development.
- Willing to work rotating shifts if needed.
- Associates degree and five years of experience or seven years of relevant work experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- More than three years of experience with SOF, SMU, Special or Technical Units of Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement.
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), to include mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents and FRAGOs.
- Working knowledge of DoD, Inter Agency/Intelligence Community and the DOD Sensitive Activities and Signature Reduction enterprise.
- Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications.
- Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, as well as web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.
- Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,000 - $163,800
