About the Role

In this opportunity as a Sr Executive Support Analyst, you will:

  • Develop support solutions and processes to enhance the desktop production environment for executive customers and visitors.

  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, providing support for both documented and undocumented problems across multiple machines and remote locations.

  • Conduct PC and general IT support for various remote offices, with occasional travel for onsite activities and specialized support.

  • Analyze network connectivity issues and act as a liaison to the appropriate infrastructure group.

  • Evaluate and test new software products and operating systems, offering implementation recommendations.

  • Create and test PC scripts and programs to boost departmental efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for software and hardware issues in the enterprise knowledge base.

  • Independently manage complex projects or tasks with minimal technical or managerial guidance.

  • Offer solutions for Tier 1 Help Desk support and provide input on departmental processes and procedures.

  • Research and recommend technical solutions to enhance productivity and meet business needs.

  • Mentor new departmental staff and support less senior team members, demonstrating leadership in project management.
     

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Sr Executive Support Analyst, if your background includes:

  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Over 5 years of support/consulting experience in information systems.

  • At least 1 year of technical or related project management experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of technical concepts such as networking, conferencing technologies, systems analysis, and global devices.

  • Previous executive support experience is a plus.

  • Strong working knowledge of laptop/desktop computers, operating systems (Windows, Mac OS), desktop software (MS Office, IE, Chrome, Adobe Suite, ZScaler), and LAN/WAN technologies.

  • Proficiency in supporting network printers and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android).

  • The ability to produce well-written technical and business documentation.

  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving, offering new ideas and fresh approaches.
     

Logistical Requirements

  • Availability for weekend and evening hours outside of normal business hours, including possible pager rotation.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

  • Capability to lift PC equipment up to 40 lbs.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $81,600 - $151,600. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
