This position is part of the Space Systems Development (SSD) business unit. SSD develops next-generation concepts and systems to advance our future of living and working in space sustainably.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will play a critical role in the commercialization of our advanced technologies. Your customer first approach will help guide our technical developments and convert viable prospects to active customers. You will analyze markets to consider how our technologies can be deployed to make an impact, develop commercial architectures to meet market needs and customer requirements, assess the functionality of our technologies within identified markets, and develop the strategies to move our products from R&D through to commercialization. 

We work in fast-paced cycles of design, analysis, and integration to deliver a scalable solution. Minimum Qualifications: 

  • B.S degree in engineering, science, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience with technology or product development in a cross-disciplinary team within a commercial environment
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: aerospace, mining, metallurgy, manufacturing, and/or energy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Knowledge of business development techniques
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion 
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time, as required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience across all product lifecycle stages
  • Experience across all business development lifecycle stages
  • Experience developing system models, business models, and/or techno-economic assessments
  • Experience working with ISRU systems
  • MBA or equivalent degree completed or in progress


 

Compensation Range for:

CA applicants is $120,060.00-$168,084.00

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off:  Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
