At ZoomInfo, we encourage creativity, value innovation, demand teamwork, expect accountability and cherish results. We value your take charge, take initiative, get stuff done attitude and will help you unlock your growth potential. One great choice can change everything. Thrive with us at ZoomInfo.

ZoomInfo (ZI) is how businesses go to market (GTM) and we’re on a mission to modernize go-to-market for everyone. Powered by real-time data and insights, our unified engagement platform helps sales and marketing teams find, acquire, and grow customers. You will lead a team of talented designers, engineers, marketers, and analysts to help build the best product, enabling our customers to unlock insights, engage customers, and win faster.

As a Principal PM, you will be responsible for building and owning Data Platforms and Services: Data Acquisition Platform (DAP) and Data tools (DT). DAP is our in-house developed platform that enables our data producers to build ETL/ELT pipelines, performing disparate and source-agnostic data ingestion and transformation to ensure data reliability and availability for the entire organization. Additionally, you will develop and manage Data Tools, a suite of applications designed to enhance productivity and efficiency for our 300+ person Research organization, data analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders. These tools allow users to view, edit, debug, and infuse data into the ZoomInfo data platform, playing an integral role in our data ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and customer success, to deliver cutting-edge data integration solutions that will revolutionize how businesses leverage data to drive growth and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own Product Lifecycle: Champion products from early-stage ideation, through a successful launch, and into monitoring and iterative improvements.
  • Set Vision and Roadmap: Paint a compelling vision and roadmap for the product, ensuring alignment with department and company objectives at every step.
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and inform product decisions.
  • Define and Analyze Metrics: Identify key metrics, implement tracking, analyze data, and translate insights into high-impact product initiatives, using tools like Amplitude and Tableau.
  • Customer Advocate: Promote customer-centric culture through exemplary behavior. Set the standard for putting users first.
  • Lead Teams: Galvanize engineers, data scientists, and marketers to ship best-in-class experiences. You’re the focal point!
  • Stakeholder Updates: Drive alignment across the organization by articulating product strategies with compelling narratives through regular, written updates to all stakeholders (including executives).
  • You will develop the best Data Acquisition Platform, tools and services that will help ZI promote speed to market to add new data and expand new data attributes
  • Scalable high-velocity ingestion, integration and testing of new sources of data; 1st, 3rd party, and publicly available data sets
  • Through partnership with Marketing and GTM teams on positioning, messaging, and release notes, users will understand our Signal data products and how to use them.
  • Engineering and Data Science teams will see you as a trusted partner and enabler to help solve complex problems, define requirements, and to build metrics to help monitor the efficacy and quality of our Signal data products.
  • Customers, prospects, and the industry will know you as a trusted advisor and partner in understanding how signals can help them understand when companies are in the market for their products.

What You Bring:

  • Seasoned Professional: You have 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong background in data platforms, data integration, and data management. Experience working with data lakes, ETL/ELT processes, and APIs is a major plus.
  • Compelling Communicator: You have a proven track record of clearly and effectively conveying complex data concepts and strategies in writing to various audiences. This includes developing compelling data narratives, crafting detailed technical requirements, and communicating data roadmaps and integration plans across the organization.
  • Business Impact Driver: You have a proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through data-driven initiatives. You are skilled at rallying teams around key performance indicators tied to company goals, and adept at connecting daily work to long-term business impact.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: You have strong product intuition guided by data insights. Your product sense is sharpened by your expertise in leveraging data analytics. You live and breathe in tools like Tableau, Looker
  • Bottom-Line Focused: You are driven to make a major impact on Zoominfo's bottom line. You build great data solutions to power significant new business opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Customer-Centric: Your True North is delivering an insanely great experience for every customer, both internal and external. You'll drop everything to jump on Zoom with a stakeholder to capture feedback live. You're reviewing data platform usage patterns and meeting recordings to understand how people interact with Data Acquisition Platform and Data tools. Turning these insights into platform, product and service improvements is what fuels you.
  • Technical Aptitude: You perk up when you receive technical design documents, eager to collaborate with engineers on data architectures and downstream Product teams. You love partnering with technical teams to bring innovative, high-performance data solutions to life.
