In the Business Data and Analytics Administrative Department, you’re part of a dynamic team of data specialists who contribute to various initiatives and priority requests for the sector. You do this by providing tools and support aimed at making optimal use of data. As a data valorization advisor, you contribute to the use and valorization of data for the Business Services sector’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. You give meaning to data by extracting, describing and analyzing it in order to facilitate business decision-making. More specifically, you will be required to :
Identify and analyze user needs, work on data valorization initiatives, and ensure operationalization through the cross-sector coordination required.
Make recommendations and help clients define their data needs.
Structure and optimize data while ensuring alignment of best practices for data valorization and governance based on the organization’s guidelines.
Work independently on developing effective queries to extract data from various sources.
Build and develop complex reports and make recommendations to support business decision-making.
Conduct research and descriptive and diagnostic analysis to ensure optimal data use. Make recommendations in line with business issues and needs.
Document and summarize complex, technical concepts and put them into plain language for different audiences.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, business intelligence or a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a role related to business intelligence or data analytics
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Proven experience in handling and classifying complex ESG data
Knowledge of French is required
Proficiency in SQL or SAS and one or more data visualization tools (ideally Power BI)
