MAX Performance & Engagement Intern: LA - Spring 2025

Your New Role
This internship will be located in the LA area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.
As a Design Management Intern for Max, you will help drive the operational success for the visual execution of the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming service as well as the production and execution of retention and engagement marketing campaigns promoting it. You will work closely with Design Managers to ensure the timely and quality delivery of design, copy, and additional creative assets representing movies, series, and franchises from WarnerMedia brands. You will help maintain and define system workflows and manage knowledge sharing across a variety of stakeholder groups, including Design, Copy, Retention & Engagement, Legal, Product Marketing, and additional approvers. Overall, you will be a crucial part in the start to finish process of the emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and other retention and engagement marketing campaigns that aim to reduce subscriber churn and build brand loyalty for current users.
Your Role Accountabilities
Assist and join Design Managers in kicking-off custom and large scale projects through scheduled kick-off meetings/Slack channels to bring creative teams together for collaboration.
Collect assets through our repositories and campaign management teams for all design requests to ensure designer can execute asks appropriately.
Maintain workback deadlines by staying up to date on all assigned tickets within Monday.com and updating ticket status accordingly throughout the execution process
Work with key stakeholders in Product Marketing, Originals Marketing, Legal, Video, and Design Managment Producers to obtain approvals on creative
Complete key art batch requests by working with Adobe Bridge/Photoshop to produce requested KA sizes for a variety of titles/films.
Attend and present in key weekly sync meetings to share out final creative or give updates on pending tickets.
Qualifications & Experience
Interest in Retention & Engagement marketing campaigns especially lifecycle, engagement, and monetization focuses.
General familiarity with design basics and use of Adobe suite
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)

Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from October through early December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
