The Food Experience Associate (FXA) is responsible for designing personalized food experiences for clients, using proprietary Food IQ technology to make informed meal-related decisions. This role involves planning detailed food experiences through data analysis, culinary expertise, and direct client interaction, while collaborating with internal teams such as Account Management, Culinary Partnership, Support, and Sales to ensure client needs are met and business objectives are achieved. The FXA plays a key role in driving company revenue by converting new clients, pursuing upsell opportunities, and securing referrals. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple client priorities, adaptability with evolving systems, and a collaborative, client-focused mindset that consistently goes the extra mile to enhance the overall client experience.

What you will do:

  • Data Analysis: Leverage data for decision-making, monitor client feedback & preferences to design food experiences that continually delight each client in your portfolio.
  • Problem Solving: Meal planning can be a puzzle at times and our FXAs use their menu knowledge and our guidelines to optimally translate customer overall budgets into individual meal spend and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Critical Thinking: Our FXA's are subject matter experts in food and creatively think through each situation to make decisions on which menu items & cuisine styles are best suited for each type of meal.
  • Client Experience: Anticipate client needs, interpret trends in data, and turn them into actionable recommendations for our internal teams to improve the business. We own the client satisfaction and want to advocate for their success when addressing market needs.
  • Project Management: Prioritize and manage your time to ensure weekly menus are planned while managing any client changes or special requests that come in, even if sometimes last minute.

Qualifications for Success:

  • 1+ years experience with menu development, vendor relations, inventory management or customer service preferably within the food & beverage industry or tech industry.
  • Technical skills: Proficient working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel - you can dive into a spreadsheet & sort through data quickly, and understand the basics of formulas. Also, the ability to learn new software as we have proprietary software you will learn.
  • Adaptability: As a growing company, we are fast-paced, evolve processes rapidly, and are consistently testing out new technology to support company goals.
  • Attention to detail: You have a proven successful track record with attention to detail, but know when to take a step back and take in the big picture - and also know when to ask for help.
  • Organization: You have a knack for accomplishing difficult tasks through prioritization and time management.

*Please note this is a remote role but you must reside in Texas.
