We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence and optimize production across our Support Operations department. In this role, you will lead process improvement initiatives, enhance equipment performance, and support the successful execution of new production capabilities.

The ideal candidate will work hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment, including a dual 750-ton Fagor coil-fed transfer press, a 400-ton Aida transfer press (three blank-fed), a roll-fed leveling cut-to-length line, and a range of 330-ton and 660-ton Seyi single-stage presses. This role also supports key downstream operations, including the powder coat line and pedestal assembly line, and will play a critical role in the implementation and ramp-up of a second pedestal assembly line.

You will partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and ensure processes are stable, efficient, and scalable.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements across all support ops to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.
  • Develop and standardize job instructions and training documentation to ensure workforce consistency and compliance.
  • Provide engineering support across 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekend coverage and vacation relief as needed.
  • Use problem-solving tools (5 Why’s, Fishbone, 8D, DMAIC, etc.) to resolve chronic equipment or process issues.
  • Track and analyze production metrics and downtime data using tools such as Excel pivot tables and EAM systems.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams to support ergonomic improvements and accident root cause analysis.
  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, scrap reduction, and productivity.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5+ years’ experience in Stamping operations.

  • Strong mechanical and process troubleshooting skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with EAM systems.

  • Willingness and flexibility to work varying shifts and provide weekend/vacation coverage.

  • Experience with transfer and single-stage presses and background in metal stamping or fabrication.
