Education/Certificates:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
Real estate or other license as required by state law.
Valid driver’s license may be required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer service, sales or retail position.
Previous leasing and selling experience preferred.
Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software preferred.
Experience using Microsoft platform including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Digitally advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint.
Strong typing skills with high level of accuracy
Understanding of applicable federal, state and local fair housing laws
Ability to close a sale
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem- solving skills
Savvy and comfortable using and creating digital content
Detail oriented; ability to manage conflicting priorities and to adjust priorities on a daily basis
Team oriented, collaborator
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Essential Duties:
Understands the overall property strategies as it relates to overall performance goals, occupancy and leasing
Manages all aspects of the leasing process for new prospects, including, but not limited to, incoming traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, ensuring the application is submitted property and creating the final lease document for multiple properties in multiple markets.
Partner with the property on site team to coordinate live virtual tours, seeking approvals for the applications/final leases and all move-in needs for an approved applicant.
Partner with the property on site team to understand leasing strategies, overall performance goals and anything related to leasing/CRM
Focus on high conversion of leads/prospects to leases including entire leasing process from market knowledge, property highlights, unit features to move-in.
Actively manage CRM queues and maintain all communications and interactions with regularly required follow up from first contact to application submittal for prospects and applicants.
Responds to phone and email inquiries including but not limited to providing leasing information, conducting virtual leasing tours, making appointments and completing application requirements.
Verifies application information, including income verification, when needed. Forwards to property manager for final approval.
Participates in selected regular property meetings related to performance/occupancy/leasing
Shops competitive properties online
Completes required daily Craigslist postings.
Participates in company required training by established deadline.
Complies with all Fairfield standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulation, as well as applicable local, state and federal laws.
Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
