Mexico Managing Director

Description -

The Managing Director (MD) for Mexico is responsible for leading the country’s operations, driving profitable growth, and ensuring alignment with LATAM regional strategies. This role oversees all business functions within Mexico, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support, while fostering a high-performance culture and compliance with corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute Mexico’s business strategy in alignment with LATAM objectives.
    • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational excellence.
  • People Leadership
    • Lead and develop a diverse team, ensuring talent retention and succession planning.
    • Promote HP’s culture, values, and leadership principles.
  • Financial Management
    • Own P&L for Mexico, ensuring financial targets and cost optimization.
    • Monitor OPEX and implement efficiency initiatives.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement
    • Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Represent HP in external forums and industry associations.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to local laws, corporate policies, and ethical standards.
    • Oversee risk management and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within technology or related industries.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale operations and delivering business results.
  • Strong understanding of Mexico’s market dynamics and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
