Job Description
The CQE works directly alongside Sales and FAE teams in their communications with Customers. They are a Quality Systems subject matter expert that has the responsibility for being the voice of Ambarella Quality, Operations and Engineering to the customer, and the voice of the Customer to Ambarella internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in the vocabulary of Quality systems used by the industry and the customer
• Cognisant of the boundaries within which the business organization is operating
• Aware of the limits within which the company can be expected to act when supporting the customer quality initiatives
• Professionally familiar with relevant international Quality standards, industry & Customer requirements (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 etc)
• Responsible for educating the business leadership team on the customer quality status
• Professional, adaptable, decisive, with a strong background in Quality and Operations
• Broad technical knowledge of the product supplied and application environment
• Drive Project Management and customer discourse for the Customer Quality Program
• Skilled in communication with any level of engineering or corporate leadership
• Embody the highest level of integrity, trust, responsibility and accountability
Responsibilities Include
• Cooperate with Sales and FAE to support the customer
• Oversee timely communications with customers on Quality & Engineering programs
• Coordinate the program of documenting CSR (Customer Specific Requirements)
• Ensure corporate knowledge of Industry standards requirements IATF, ISO etc
• Oversee APQP, PAPP and other relevant customer document requests
• Coordinate Management of Change communications with the customer
• Coordinate 8D and Failure Communications with the customer
• Manage Customer Audits
• Communicate customer expectations and requirements to leadership

Job Requirements,
1. At least 5 years of combined experience in the area of Customer Quality, QA and/or IC Design or Manufacturing.
2. Experience in automotive products is an advantage.
3. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is a plus.
