Duration: This is a 9-month fix-term contract for maternity coverage and has the possibility to extend for an additional 3 months.

About the role:

As a Sr. Talent Partner at the Whalar Group, you will provide exceptional customer service to hiring managers, develop and execute sourcing strategies, and manage the full recruitment process for various roles in Digital Media, Talent Management, and Tech. You will ensure a high-touch candidate experience and support recruitment projects such as employer branding and diversity initiatives. With a focus on building strong pipelines and delivering high-quality candidates, your role will be crucial in fulfilling the Whalar Group's hiring goals.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Provide exceptional levels of customer service to hiring managers and senior stakeholders
  • Act as the employer branding champion to cultivate hiring managers and interviewers to represent Whalar's culture in a meaningful way.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to develop sourcing and hiring strategies 
  • Responsible for the recruitment of a range of roles across all departments including sales, creative, client services, and measurement & analytics
  • Managing the full recruitment process from briefing to close
  • Identify, attract, negotiate compensation packages and close all level candidates, continuously deliver high-quality candidates and fulfill the hiring goal
  • Ensure a high-touch candidate experience.
  • Support on recruitment projects such as workshops, employer branding, D&I initiatives

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • 3+ years recruiting digital media/advertising positions
  • 3 + years experience working at a staffing agency or start-up
  • Proven abilities to attract/hunt passive candidates and build strong pipelines
  • Excellent at selling value proposition, negotiating, and closing great candidates
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment 
  • Sharp eye for business with the ability to listen, ask relevant questions, and think three steps ahead
  • Ability to establish relationships by phone, email, and social media channels
  • Working knowledge of ATS tools (Greenhouse a bonus!) and recruiting technologies
  • A passion for building diverse teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experience
