The opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract strong passive and active talent to fill open positions.

  • Develop an understanding of future talent requirements and succession gaps to ensure a healthy pipeline of high potential for must win battles

  • Partner with lines of business and functional leaders as a talent acquisition subject matter expert to ensure that recruitment processes  are executed efficiently and maximise talent market visibility to result in high caliber hires

  • Drive the candidate selection process and ensure managers have the tools needed to select the most qualified candidate. Ensure that candidate assessment tools are used effectively to identify the right talent and lower first year turnover of new hires

  • Ensure all recruitment processes are fair, equitable and comply with all relevant local government regulations as well as global recruitment policies

  • Build a sustainable social media presence and develop a strong digital profile to position yourself as an Manulife EVP Brand Ambassador to effectively hunt for passive talent and successfully sell Manulife career opportunities

  • Focus on improving the quality of candidate and hiring manager interaction

What we are looking for

  • Experience in managing high volume end to end recruitment processes for professional positions in a corporate multinational environment

  • Ability to hunt for talent in the external market place using multiple sourcing channels including social media and social networking to identify, engage and inspire passive talent

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills to be able to create a compelling narrative and sell the employee value proposition

  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills related to engagement with internal and external customers, HR stakeholders, team members and external vendor partners

  • Project management capabilities and familiarity with pulling together reports and presentations utilising excel and PowerPoint skills
