We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Operations Manager to join our internal IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging Jira administration expertise, utilizing Agile methodologies, and scripting for automation, ensuring efficient project management and integration with DevOps practices. 

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • To lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.

  • Provide advanced technical support for company IT, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime for users.

  • Configure and maintain Jira environments, including plugins and integrations, to support business requirements and enhance system functionality.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues, ensure project objectives are met, and facilitate effective use of Jira.

  • Monitor system performance, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to mitigate them, ensuring system reliability and stability.

  • Offer support and training to Jira users, helping them to efficiently navigate and utilize the system, while also addressing escalated support tickets.

  • Communicate status updates, technical challenges, and potential risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.

  • Continuously evaluate support processes and methodologies, making improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in handling Jira-related issues.

  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Jira, implementing relevant changes to improve system functionality and support processes.

We’re excited about you if you have:

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ Years of extensive experience in IT support.
  • Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in administering Jira and Google Workspace.

  • Familiarity with common business applications such as Office Suite or GSuit, email clients, and web browsers.

  • Strong background in technical project management, including IT support and IT infrastructure.

  • Strong management and communication skills, enabling effective leadership and collaboration within project teams.

  • Understanding of both Apple (macOS, iOS) and Windows operating systems.

  • Understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

  • Knowledge of computer hardware components, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Must-have competencies:

  • Proven track record as a Jira Administrator, specializing in Jira Cloud administration.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, facilitating collaboration and user training.

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Lead, adept at managing technical projects and employing project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

  • Solid technical background in software development, systems engineering, IT support and IT infrastructure, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, and Trello, and experience in customer-facing roles, providing IT support or consulting services.
