Your Role:

We're looking for a Regulatory Reporting & Tax to support Regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory and tax obligations for our operations. This role will be an opportunity to learn and contribute to safeguarding financial integrity and strengthening Tamara's standing with regulatory authorities and stakeholders in the region.

Your responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory reporting for Tamara in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
• Support the timely submission and adherence to regulatory reporting requirements in close collaboration with the compliance team.
• Help prepare and submit prudential financial reporting to regulatory bodies.

Tax Compliance:

• Support corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax compliance, including accurate calculation, filing, and payment within regulatory deadlines.
• Assist with calculating and recording monthly and year-end tax provisions
• Assist in availing benefits under double tax treaties.
• ensuring compliance with e-invoicing regulations.

Process Optimization:

• Contribute to continuous improvements in statutory reporting and tax compliance processes, supporting internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in regulatory reporting and suggest streamlined solutions.

Stakeholder Management:

• Assist in managing relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities, including relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Legal and Compliance to support compliance initiatives.

Your expertise

• • 3 years in Financial / regulatory reporting, tax compliance,preferably in a fintech, bank, or Big 4 environment.
  • Foundational technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and Tax Regulations (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax) is a must.
  • Proficient in Excel; ERP experience preferred (Oracle NetSuite is a plus).
  • Pursuing CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal), with effective communication is a must.
