As part of the Tax Team, the Senior Associate will collaborate closely with team members and be involved with the tax reporting processes for our tax clients. The position will include interaction with global offices.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly Tax ECDIs
• Running reports and preparing reconciliations
• Preparation of TaxPacks and Taxable Income Summaries
• Provide U.S. tax analysis including, but not limited to the following:
• Wash sales analysis
• ETF/REIT analysis
• Preparation of Forms 1099
• ASC 740 CGT analysis
• Special projects

Pre-Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Completed bachelor’s degree in either business, accounting or finance.
• Minimum 1-2 years of prior experience in major Financial Institution or and Accounting Firm, preferably in Finance or Hedge Fund accounting.
• Advance knowledge of Excel, ability to write complex formulas & manipulate large data sets.
• Flexible, self-motivated individual with ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent communication & leadership skills, which can further develop & manage Krakow tax team.
• Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
