The Position

Position - Manager-Repair Centre

Location - Chennai

This position is within the Roche Professional Service Team, where we strive for excellence for our customers by leveraging our knowledge and a team of highly qualified professionals. Our goal is to ensure customers enjoy an experience that meets their needs and aligns with the expectations of a global industry leader.

As a member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction in complex service projects involving your team, while also driving improvements in the efficiency and sustainability of the activities performed. As the Manager Repair Center at our Chennai repair center, you will be responsible for repair & refurbishment activities for the solutions designed by the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Repair & Refurbishment: Repair, Refurbish and validate field-returned instruments, ensuring all performance checks pass as per the defined criteria by manufacturer.
2) Case Closure: Ensure all cases raised for refurbishment activities are closed immediately upon completion of the task.
3) Spare Parts Management: Consume all ordered spare parts and consumables within agreed timelines in the respective work order.
4) RA Spare Parts Return: Return all parts categorized as "RA Spare parts" immediately after the completion of the refurbishment activity.
5) Records and Reports: Safely and accurately maintain all reports and records generated during the refurbishment process according to instructions.
6) Monitoring of Service Parameters for Repaired/Refurbished systems.

7) Training Management for Repair Centre FSE’s and Development of the team on technical competencies.

8) Secondary level of Support on Spare Part Management for Logistics Teams.

Who You Are

Graduate with BTech/BSc as an added advantage

Experience in Repairs & refurbishment

Experience in working with Medical Devices/ IVD industry

Excellent communication skills
