JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position:              Insights Manager

Reports to:          Director Marketing

Division:              Established Pharmaceuticals Division -EPD

Location:             City Office - Karachi

Job Summary:

Proactively drive insights into the business by working collaboratively on business issues with Therapy Areas, Global, Regional and Country teams. Glocalise insights and support regional marketing and sales teams.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Capable to devise actionable strategies from market insights (primary, secondary research)
  • Help in marketing decision making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations
  • Leveraging research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gaining internal support to act upon these opportunities
  • Managing external agencies for the execution of research projects to conduct ad-hoc studies through PMR conducted to standards of operation/policies including compliance and PV
  • Collect insights, consequences and actions along with reports, analysis and all project files
  • Trendspotting, forecasting & predictive analysis and competitive intelligence that drives marketing initiatives
  • Taking IMS Prognosis and any other purchased data/information and converting into insights and foresights
  • Review of previous PMRs and other special analysis conducted to reveal and apply insights identified
  • Be fully responsible for the execution of global market research studies, manage the collaboration between global, area and affiliates to ensure the generation of high-quality insights which impact the organization’s success
  • Conveying analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports
  • Keep a record of insights/foresights that are taken by marketing or sales and the benefit delivered to the business
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify competitor threats and white spaces opportunities via data & field visits
  • Build and sustain beneficial working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enabling successful implementation of product strategies and tactics
  • Support affiliate leaders and team in the management, set-up, implementation and monitoring of business analytics KPI

Education/ Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelors preferably in Business Administration from a reputable institution. Additional qualification/diploma in the related function will be preferred
  • 7-8 years of experience in similar role in any reputable research agency or pharma company in the area of business intelligence
  • Knowledge and experience of using IQVIA data and market research processes (qualitative and quantitative research) is a must
  • Expert in MS Office in particular Excel, PowerPoint
