As the North America Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within the semiconductor & microprocessor markets to achieve sales growth with our customers. You will manage and build business relationships with end users, OEM’s, and channel partners by developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans and using support processes to meet sales and profit targets.  You will leverage our manufacturing capabilities, processes, and people to coordinate and own all aspects of a complex and collaborate sales approach in support of our customers’ requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds territory sales targets in defined markets by using an 8020 mindset in cultivating profitable and sustainable revenue through collaboration.

  • Create, update and present strategic plans for key target customers.  Monitor and modify the strategy based upon technology, product, market or competitive forces to optimize business resource efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Continuously invest in building stronger relationship with customers’ leadership teams and intensify the activity with key function decision makers in assigned major accounts.

  • Utilize business tools and CRM to record all customer information and maintain timely forecasting information.

  • Lead cross-functional resources to meet customer and business needs, including coordinating all customer activities during product development, from inquiry to negotiated order.

  • Build understanding of customer’s technology roadmaps to understand challenges, create solutions and demonstrate value.

  • Analyze industry, customer, and competitor trends and regularly report status.

  • Facilitate required training to channel partner personnel on commercial and technical opportunities.

  • Establish network within other IDEX business unit subsidiaries and peer personnel.

  • Professional sales training and background with a consistent sense of urgency.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required.  Engineering or Business discipline preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience in Technical Outside Sales B2B or Business Development, OEM experience within the Semiconductor market.

  • Demonstrated strategic selling in complex organizations and ability to sell at all levels.

  • Familiar with the concepts of CRM tools.

  • Experience in developing and executing territory and key account plans.

  • Excellent customer relationship and account management skills.

Travel:

  • Willingness and capability of traveling >50% of time to visit customers, prospects, attend tradeshows and industry events, and visit other IDEX company locations.
