We are growing our European Microsoft Dynamics 365 team and have a great opportunity for a MS Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant looking to join a progressive practise.

The Consultant will join the operations team and work in a scrum team to deliver support / bug fixes and designs on the solution. As part of the operations team, the team will plan and organize the work of the team, from requirement analysis, functional design, technical design, development, testing, release and support. The Consultant will participate in this process and work with the other team members to understand the new design and configuration of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations application. Additionally the consultant will work on resolving incidents and test new functionality.

The Consultant is required to have good functional skills working in Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365 Finance including core finance, general ledger, tax, cost accounting, fixed assets, budgeting, revenue recognition, consolidation, credit and collections, cash and bank management, expense management, and project management and accounting. They understand the relationships between finance and manufacturing, retail, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

  • Work in cross functional teams to drive effective creation of Minimum Viable Products that bring business value faster
  • Design, Configure, test, maintain and improve software
  • Think creatively to solve the user problem with holistic and simple solution
  • Support to maintain and improve the application functionality
  • Drive best practices within teams with respect to standards and guidelines
  • Configures, designs, tests, deploy application functionality to meet requirement specification / In-Scope User Stories
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Build products aligned to help our clients succeed in the industry
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new frameworks/technologies
  • Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle
  • Constantly review the code to ensure the quality of the design by avoiding complexity, advocating clarity and to do this with the team
  • Contribute to each step of the product process from ideation to implementation, testing and supporting solutions
  • Create software documentation and update existing documentation Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Several years relevant experience
  • Hands on experience in MS Dynamics Dynamics 365 F/SCM
  • Should have implemented (end to end) at least 3 D365 F/SCM projects
  • Should have involved in solution design (At least 3 projects)
  • Experience in fit gap analysis
  • Experience in leveraging Microsoft SureStep methodology for full-lifecycle implementations
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Provide guidance to the team and resolve functional issues and questions
  • Leading and mentoring team members
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant (MB-310)
  • Academic background in accounting or controlling
