In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration, integration, and release processes to ensure seamless delivery. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while balancing business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration across various teams and proactive oversight of solution evolution are key aspects of daily activities, ensuring that the applications meet organizational goals and adapt to changing needs effectively.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance solution quality and delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project objectives.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer who has in-depth knowledge in Java and Spring Boot Technology working on Azure cloud platform.



Responsibilities



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand search requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
Contribute to development activities using Java/Spring Boot technology.



Requirements


6+ yrs. of experience having knowledge in Java 17, Spring Boot 3 and Spring Security.
Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure and services like Azure AI Search, Storage Account, Functions, OpenAI, Cosmos DB.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Good to have knowledge in Azure Factory to perform deployment activities.
Experience in designing and developing Large Language Model (LLM)–based applications leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and AI agent architectures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Good to have knowledge of OpenAI services and usage of LLM models in Azure cloud platform.
It is good to have knowledge in Python Fast API and flexible to learn new things.
