Crossroads is a leading addiction treatment provider of outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT). We treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) using medications such as methadone and suboxone/ buprenorphine. We pride ourselves in supporting our patients’ medical and personal recoveries from substance use disorder. Day in the Life of a Physician

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings..
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
• function as a leader and mentor to center staff. Sign off on orders.

Schedule & Locations

• Charleston 5 hours weekly (10 hours weekly if candidate would like to add Myrtle Beach center). We can be flexible.
• Example of hours: 5am-11am.

Education and Licensure Requirements

• Licensed, active Physician in the state of practice (SC)
• DEA licensure in SC
• Emergency or Internal Medicine experience with an interest in substance use disorders.
• Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience preferred
• Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
• Will provide mentoring, act as a leader and provide sign off on orders.
