Material Handling Associate (1st shift)

Come join a growing and stable manufacturing company. In this role you will learn all aspects of material flow through an operation.  This includes receiving, put away, picking, inventory accuracy and the best way to keep track of and move our inventory to our customers.

We are utilizing the latest in RFID and barcode tracking to ensure inventory flows through our facility in an efficient manner.  As a key team member of the Supply Chain team you will learn to use this technology and best practices in managing inventory.

You will be responsible for managing a full range of order fulfillment and warehouse functions including stocking, storing, inventory of materials, and/or packaging of the products.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Pull product from automated storage system and shelving

  • Receiving material from suppliers and production orders

  • Put away material received, to and consolidate locations to allow for accurate inventory

  • Pick parts based on pick list

  • Package or crate the product

  • Perform receiving or shipping activities as required based on workload.

  • Use of common hand tools and warehouse equipment, basic math, and shop safety.

  • Ability to use drive tow motor and or/ manual pallet jack

  • Must be available to work OT in off-shift hours and weekends as required.

  • Other assignments as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Lifting 50lbs, pushing 50lbs, pulling 50lbs

  • Standing, Sitting, Walking

  • High School or GED required

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to follow instruction and complete tasks independently
