Product Costing Support Specialist

Description -

ITR Product Costing processes are being transitioned from Legacy platform (iCost) onto S4.  This resource will provide end-to-end Product Costing process & system support within S4 platform with focus on ITR / Customer Service costing models. Position will also provide extended support and coverage SAP FICO product costing module.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper execution of ITR Costing process within S4, this includes:
    • Incident investigation & resolution within SAP platform.
    • Assist Month End Close (MEC) related activities.
    • Monitoring execution costing jobs & programs for New Product Introduction (NPI) and MEC.
    • Execution of ITAC SOX (Automated controls), etc.  
    • Ensures Process documentation is up to date.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and technical enhancements.
  • Provides support to extended Design team on IT projects mainly on Testing and Hypercare phases.

Subject Matter skills: 

  • Good experience in S4 Hana with focus in FI module.
  • Knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Supply Chain processes
  • Experience in process documentation and process improvement.

Other required skills:

  • Good MS Office knowledge with strong experience in MS Excel based data analysis.
  • Exposure to databases like Access, Power BI, Tableau or any reporting tools.
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, Business or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

• Responds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines.
