Essential Job Statements
Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans (process documentation) by creating clear, concise user manuals, guides, and reports.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts. Collaborate with other teams to integrate disaster recovery and business continuity plans (emergency management, information security, and service management) Communicate complex technical information effectively.
Conduct regular training and awareness sessions – failover scenarios – tabletop drills as well as real failovers.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats. Carry out risk assessment and mitigation procedures
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in disaster recovery.
Oversee data recovery management of all virtual and physical environments.
Evaluate historical disasters and identify improvement areas
Set roles and duties for each team member to establish accountability, and
Secure physical locations.
Manage DR service vendors and service provider contracts.
Set alerts that notify multiple employees when disaster strikes
Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health

Employment Qualifications
Required Education:
Associate degree in information technology or related field with 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field with 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
3+ years of experience working with disaster recovery program documentations, policies, standards, and guidelines.
Strong communication skills and ability to discuss disaster recovery with business leaders.
