AI Product Owner (MarTech & Generative AI)
What you’ll be doing...
We’re looking for you to bring the latest and greatest AI-driven marketing features to our customers—and to help us tell the marketplace about what’s new and why they need to have it. This Product Owner role combines deep technical knowledge of Generative AI and advanced analytics with strategic product management to deliver solutions that revolutionize personalization, content generation, and customer engagement.
Collaborating with others, you’ll build the roadmap and drive the process from ideation through design and roll-out. As the "quarterback" of your build squad, you will serve as the primary translator between business stakeholders and AI technical teams, ensuring that our AI initiatives drive measurable incremental impact. Your focus will be on AI products and experimentation frameworks that solve customer challenges and drive key business outcomes through data.
Understanding and anticipating market needs within the MarTech and AdTech landscape.
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision for AI-enabled marketing features, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals.
Product Backlog Ownership: Leading the day-to-day squad activities, including backlog management, pipeline prioritization, and sprint planning.
Defining User Stories: Translating complex business requirements into clear user stories and actionable acceptance criteria for data scientists and engineers.
Building the business case, getting internal consensus, and aligning with the AI implementation team to ensure solutions are modular and scalable.
Forging strong relationships across the organization to identify blockers and facilitate rapid decision-making.
Tracking marketing value metrics and communicating results to management.
Understanding what customers will want next is your driver. You are an AI-first enthusiast who is creative but balances that with your practical business side. You can juggle several projects with tight deadlines and not drop any balls—while also keeping your eye on the big picture. You are comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adept at communicating complex concepts in simple terms. With a knack for working with different types of people, you inspire others to do their best work and carry out your vision.
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three to six years of experience in managing digital products or technology initiatives, ideally in a Product Owner or similar leadership capacity.
Two to four years leading multidisciplinary product teams, integrating business, design, and technology functions.
Good understanding of AI concepts, specifically Generative AI, ML model architectures, and computational requirements for marketing use cases.
Familiarity with marketing data platforms and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, incrementality).
Experience defining and tracking marketing value metrics (e.g., ROI, conversion lift, personalization efficacy).
Experience in improving customer experience through data-driven personalization.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter and lead cross-functional teams (business, development, data, and design).
Strong communication skills with the aptitude to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with AI-driven content generation or automated audience segmentation.
Extensive experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics.
A strategic thinker with a proven record of leveraging analytics for business growth.
Knowledge of design thinking.
Digital experience specifically within a marketing agency or internal marketing organization.
Managed complex projects with shifting priorities, demands, and stakeholders.
