In this critical role within the Securities department within the wider Corporate and Commercial Bank (CCB), you’ll be part of a team providing specialist operational support for collateral servicing and fulfilment activities.

The team is the primary point of contact for all security advice, issues and oversight for CCB. You’ll be recording, monitoring, managing and servicing the collateral that CCB holds to secure its lending products, in order to provide expert and dedicated support to the Bank’s customers, relationship teams, credit decisioning and reporting.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Performing document and system-based tasks to support collateral servicing and fulfilment activities
  • Handling incoming and outgoing security and finance documentation requests
  • Processing security release and in-life variation updates on the Bank’s internal securities system
  • Ensuring security is correctly registered at public registries and that all finance and security documents are held by the Bank
  • Checking and updating systems, reviewing, approving, producing and executing security release and in-life variation documentation
  • Applying specialist knowledge of commercial securities and commercial lending transactions to support all activities and interactions

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in a commercial lending or securities role within a banking or property law environment
  • Excellent knowledge of legal and securities documentation, processes, controls, policies, procedures and terminology

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Paralegal with Corporate Banking or Property experience
  • Previous experience of using nCino digital banking platform
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well-developed investigation, analytical and problem-solving skills

What else you need to know:

This role is based in Bootle and you will be expected to spend two days per month of your time in this office
