Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dining Attendant to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our dining area. As a Dining Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include organizing, cleaning, and maintaining safety levels of plates and silverware. Your meticulous approach and dedication to cleanliness and safety will play a vital role in providing a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Table Setup: Prepare dining tables by arranging clean plates, silverware, and other necessary items in an orderly and presentable manner before meal service.

2. Dining Area Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including ensuring chairs are neatly arranged and floors are free from debris.

3. Dishware and Silverware Cleaning: Collect used dishes and silverware from tables promptly, and efficiently clean and sanitize them for reuse.

4. Refilling Supplies: Monitor and refill essential dining supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and beverages, to ensure guests have everything they need.

5. Clearing Tables: Clear tables of used dishes, cups, and utensils after each guest's departure, ensuring quick turnover for incoming diners.

6. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all dining areas are safe and free from hazards, promptly addressing any spills or dangerous situations.

7. Communicating with Guests: Interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner, assisting with their needs and providing excellent customer service.

8. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other dining staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient dining experience for guests.

9. Sanitation and Hygiene: Adhere to proper sanitation and hygiene standards while handling dishes, silverware, and dining equipment.

10. Equipment Maintenance: Report any damaged or malfunctioning dining equipment to the appropriate personnel for repair or replacement.

11. Cleaning Tasks: Assist with overall dining area cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness in restrooms.

12. Dining Area Appearance: Ensure that the dining area is well-presented and aesthetically appealing for guests.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Dining Attendant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong organizational skills to manage table setups, dishware, and silverware efficiently.

- Attention to detail to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dining area.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing dining needs.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

- A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the dining team's success.
