Meet the Team

The HR Business Partners are responsible for strategically partnering with Silicon Labs senior leaders on a range of matters, acting as single points of contact for the functions they partner with. We advocate for teams that drive our product roadmaps in our core market segments to ensure our strategies around talent attraction, retention and development are timely and effective.

We proactively work with stakeholders across our Global People Team to support global and local initiatives and communicate in a way that champions and strengthens the Silicon Labs culture in all our locations.

We embrace, and lead, multi-year talent management and other change initiatives, working closely with our Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Compensation, Benefits and HRIS centers of expertise to ensure a successful release to the organization.

Skills You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of human resources experience in multi-national, high-tech companies
  • 2+ years partnering with a business unit or functional area (software or hardware engineering strongly preferred­­)
  • Strong track record of building credibility with executives & managers
  • Strong background of working across multiple human resource disciplines, including: compensation, employee relations, talent development, performance management, and employment law in a variety of states &/or countries
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and influence executive leaders and their teams on sensitive topics
  • Proficient in organizational design, team effectiveness, change management and communication planning
  • Strong understanding of risk and risk management in a variety of employment matters
  • Ability to focus on what matters when dealing with ambiguous situations - ability to ‘read between the lines.’
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, including consulting internally within the People Team and externally within client groups
  • Familiar with design-led thinking ­- analytical, with a focus on communicating and driving decisions with strong data
  • Experienced interdisciplinary thinker able to integrate employee, business, legal and financial factors into actionable recommendations
  • Proven excellence in influencing, educating and “raising the bar” in all things
  • Dedication to leaving things better than you found them

The following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Experience with Workday
  • Familiarity with the Semiconductor Industry
  • Additional Human Resource certifications or accreditations

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $123,904 - $230,107 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
