The Operational Support Senior Developer is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic initiatives focused on changing the bank

  • Working closely with the business and technology on providing end-to-end operational support for strategic and tactical projects, regulatory driven initiatives and market /vendor mandated changes

  • Working with Technology and BA teams to implement system solutions, streamline operational processes, identify process efficiencies, reducing manual processes via system automation, drive UAT and regression testing

  • Support various technical engagements from an operational perspective such as EUC development and maintenance, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and others

  • Gain thorough industry knowledge quickly and effectively interact with other operating units

  • Provide SIT, UAT testing with strategic technology rollouts

  • Coordinate with global coders in other regions to resolve issues

  • Independently assess workflow issues and redirects work as necessary

  • Provide subject matter expertise to related projects

  • Identify policy gaps and formulates policies

  • Interpret data and makes recommendations

  • Ability to perform deep dive analysis and draw conclusions

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage or lead projects and work with limited supervision

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Must possess knowledge of SharePoint and VBA/Excel Macros Robotics automation (Automation Anywhere or other tools) deployment experience as project lead or developer will be an advantage

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and Power Point

  • Knowledge and familiarity with financial product data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters, S&P, Telekurs, etc)
