As a Manager, Advanced Analytics, you will help transform Walmart’s vast logistics network into a flexible, adaptive, and learning‑oriented system. You'll play a pivotal role in modernizing labor planning by transitioning away from legacy tools toward Polaris—our enterprise‑scale scheduling platform—while building technical and analytical solutions that fuel better, faster decision‑making for leaders across the network.
About the Supply Chain Labor Planning Team
Walmart’s Supply Chain Labor Planning team ensures our multi‑format network runs with precision by delivering smarter workforce insights and next‑generation labor planning capabilities. We build the tools and automation that allow site leaders to optimize staffing, improve associate experience, and drive operational excellence. This team sits at the nexus of data engineering, product management, and supply chain execution—modernizing how labor is planned, deployed, and measured across hundreds of facilities.
What you'll do...
- Build and scale automated analytics tools using SQL‑driven pipelines to improve data accuracy and streamline labor planning workflows.
- Design and maintain advanced Power BI data models and dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into workforce health and daily staffing outcomes.
- Manage Win The Day (WTD) automation—including hours, volume, and GRT reporting—to ensure alignment between workload and performance dashboards.
- Explore emerging technologies, including Generative AI and agentic capabilities, to evolve labor‑mitigation and decision‑support tools.
- Lead the migration of 361+ sites into Polaris by August 2026, ensuring seamless cutovers and field‑ready documentation.
- Own backlog and roadmap cycles, prioritizing key enhancements such as borrowed labor logic, split‑shift scheduling, and task‑based labor modeling.
- Coordinate deployment and change‑management activities, ensuring site leaders are trained through non‑production previews and process guides.
- Deliver weekly performance insights to senior leadership tracking ROI, projections, and operational outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
