About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to support the Secondary Marketing and Portfolio Management team in driving change on several key portfolio related initiatives.  This position will report to the Head of Secondary Marketing and Portfolio Management and support the leadership team by providing cross functional support across the team, helping influence executive communication on project status and impacts, and helping to identify opportunities to maintain the existing Home Lending Balance Sheet.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership

  • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Executive, helping shape priorities, initiatives, and long‑term organizational goals.

  • Translate the Executive’s vision into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.

  • Drive accountability across the leadership team by establishing processes, monitoring progress, and ensuring follow‑through on commitments.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives, steering committee, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet expected outcomes.

  • Manage special projects assigned by the Executive, providing oversight from planning through execution.

  • Act as a key liaison between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication.

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, briefings, talking points, and reports.

  • Build strong relationships across the organization to support cross‑departmental collaboration.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education



Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Experience in Home Lending Capital Markets and / or Consumer Businesses.

  • Demonstrates a combination of business and risk acumen, attention to details, attention to deadlines.

  • Experience building relationships across lines of businesses, influencing partners, as well as providing credible and effective challenge.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, prioritize actions, and drive results

  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among senior leaders and cross-functional partners

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence outcomes

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills

  • DE/MN: $153,000 to $239,000

  • Other Posted Locations: $139,000 to $217,000

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
