Are you interested in working with the latest and greatest cloud technologies? Drive transformation of traditional Ops to DevOps to No-Ops? Look no further, we are seeking a DevOps engineer for our Cloud Services Automation team. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of exciting projects, building robust and automated platform across key hyperscale cloud providers, using modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Design, develop and manage Cloud Platform ecosystem in AWS, Azure, GCP and more…
Gather functional/non-functional requirements and develop architecture solutions
Perform well-architected reviews for existing workloads, and provide recommendations to improve the maturity of the landscape
LEANify cloud deployments with infrastructure-as-code and automation
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc)
Build dashboards to provide visibility, and UI to empower users and admins with self-service capabilities
Execute POCs, migrate/setup application workloads on Azure and AWS
Collaborate with the security team to analyze, create standards for various cloud services
Enhance the security posture by automating technical enforcement of policies and guidelines
Improve consistency and operational efficiency by automating various aspects of cloud management
Maintain and enhance software tools, continually pursue excellence by focusing on business outcomes
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills.
Strong Software Development experience with demonstrable proficiency in one or more languages - Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, NodeJS, AngularJS, etc
Good understanding / background of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux or Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls and Security)
Proven expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes
Demonstrated knowledge of cloud/infrastructure architecture patterns and practices
Thorough understanding of Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools -ex. Terraform, Chef, Puppet,ARM, etc, and cloud delivery models
Proficiency with AWS and/or MS Azure Compute and Platform services
Advanced Knowledge of SDLC/Agile practices and tools - CI/CD pipeline, automated testing, code reviews, Jenkins, Jira, etc
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architecture
Self-motivated, team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt, train others
Self organized, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Definite Plus:
Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS)
Experience with microservices and container orchestration
Demonstrated experience in infrastructure/cloud architecture
Security & Firewall experience
Bachelor's and 5 years experience or MS degree in Computer Science and/or related field
5+ years of scripting and software development
5+ years of Experience with unix/linux/windows
5+ years of experience working on Azure and/or AWS
