Job Description:
The Lead Business Analyst (BA) role requires a highly self-motivated individual capable of rapidly understanding both the Supply Chain business domain and multiple IT systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. The role demands a high level or indirect leadership and influence, not only over business stakeholders but also other Bas within the Supply Chain domain, driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration. Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving abilities are essential to address complex business challenges. Furthermore, the role involves influencing and driving change within the team and the broader organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring the alignment of Supply Chain business objectives with technological solutions, ultimately contributing to the organization’s success.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 2 days onsite at Home Office and the remainder remotely/from home.

What you’ll do:
Requirement Elicitation
- Engage with Supply Chain business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into the appropriate level of requirement detail to support solution development.
- Work with software development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage changes to requirements and assesses impact to scope and complexity of projects.
- Develop and maintain traceability of the requirements from planning through post-production to ensure quality of delivery.
- Understand, develop and apply re-usable standards for maintaining requirements.
- Use modeling tools and techniques to create modeling diagrams that help define the requirements, identify gaps in requirements and workflows.
Process Optimization
- Analyze current Supply Chain business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain units to re-engineer processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity through digital solutions.
- Assess proposed solutions to determine which solution best fits the business need, identify gaps in solution, and propose necessary workarounds or changes to the solution.
- Develop best practices and standard operation procedures for integration into business operations.
- Responsible for producing and delivering high quality, structured, fully tested solutions on time, and in accordance with business requirements and IT standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Builds connections with business partners, including users, vendors, project teams, and management at all levels.
- Tailor and adjust communication to cater to the requirements of all business partners.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and Supply Chain business units to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Understands organizational culture and uses relationships to influence decisions.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation for Supply Chain Systems at a T3 escalation level.
Innovation and Optimization
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply technology for innovation and efficiency improvement.
- Utilize business analytics to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Ensure that implementations enhance efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
- Promote continuous learning and improvement regarding technologies.
- Team with the Supply Chain team to utilize automated testing tools.
Strategic
- Enterprise thinking, understand big-picture and explore innovative approaches to create effective and sustainable solutions.
- Practice and encourage Agile mindset and behaviors; coach, inspire, and mentor teams on Agile principles.
- Partner with other Business Analysts to define and implement standards and guidelines of business Analysts best practices.
- Partner with business leaders to create and turn strategies into effectively-implemented solutions.
- Ensures focus is on highest value and speed of delivery of functionality to enable business to leverage and create collaboration to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to articulate the art of the possible and challenge the status quo.
Leadership
- Manage conflict and collaborate with project stakeholders and management to gain alignment on requirements and direction.
- Develop and facilitate user acceptance criteria to ensure business needs are met.
- Coaching: work with other analysts, at all levels, to increase their knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and systems, targeted toward the level of the analyst.
- Ability to customize coaching approach based on the experience and learning style of the analyst.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelors in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in a business analyst role with a focus on Quality management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in business analytics tools and software development methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor business analyst at various levels.
- Experience in project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile-SCRUM).
- Strong Supply Chain business acumen and understanding of various business processes.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (within and outside of the US).
- Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed) at home for remote and hybrid positions.
