Main Purpose:

As a Reporting Analyst in the Storage team, you will play a crucial role in preparing decision making reports on storage inventory management, costs and operational KPIs

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably in Mathematics, Logistics, Inventory management or similar field
  • Proficient in English both in spoken and written
  • Basic understanding of market costs and economics
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make recommendations
  • Someone who is organised, pays attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, looking after a range of high priority issues
  • Basic Understanding of contract terms and logistics
  • System oriented mentality- UATs understanding
  • Ability to think outside of the box and identify solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

 Technical knowledge to include:

  • Strong Excel capabilities, QlikView

Proficiencies:

  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Completing tasks and fulfilling responsibilities in a timely manner with high quality results
  • High degree of responsibility and accountability
  • Meticulous and detailed oriented
  • The ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances

Key Responsibilities:

  • Storage Reporting
  • Software updates
  • Use of industry-standard tools to identify process or control gaps and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Review the usage of the system and suggest enhancements to ensure continuous improvement and further automation.

Department Overview

Trafigura's Storage department is responsible for managing the global storage operations and inventory of the company's traded commodities.

The team oversees a network of owned and leased storage terminals, tanks, warehouses and silos located strategically around the world. They ensure the proper handling, maintenance and accounting of commodities while in storage.
