Job Summary

Provide support to the Maintenance Department by identifying, documenting, and cataloging parts within the eMaint system. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, proper documentation of parts usage, and effective stock management to support operational efficiency.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile all inventory movements and adjustments (positive and negative) charged to assigned cost centers.
  • Identify and document parts utilized for each piece of equipment.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of parts usage.
  • Conduct routine stock checks, including rework and re-labeling of inventory as needed.
  • Generate recurring Excel reports to track inventory frequency and usage trends.
  • Obtain quotes and coordinate the ordering of parts.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory records within the eMaint system.

Required Experience:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with inventory control.
  • Intermediate proficiency in identifying electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic  components.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word (including inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers, tables, and adjusting table formatting).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including SUM functions, formatting, sorting, chart creation, text wrapping, header/footer setup, and print scaling).

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Sit, walk or stand for prolong periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments, (32F – 95F).
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Frequent bending and kneeling.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$19.75 - $28.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
