About the Role

As a YE ENGINEER-1 at Micron, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that are crafting the future of the semiconductor industry. This role is uniquely positioned to influence and drive significant advancements in technology and manufacturing processes. You will work alongside dedicated engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and improve semiconductor process flow and CMOS device characteristics.
  • Manage wafer test flow, conduct yield analysis, and perform data mining to identify and address issues.
  • Improve wafer yield and drive process improvements to achieve flawless performance.
  • Apply electrical failure analysis and physical failure analysis skills to identify root causes and determine corrective actions.
  • Apply failure analysis to deduce failure modes and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct product grade and module DPM analysis, driving process improvements.
  • Monitor and manage process and product reliability, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze electrical parameters (PARAM) and set up testing programs.
  • Manage and resolve deviation materials, applying problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times through automation systems.
  • Leverage data scientist skills to extract valuable insights from organized data sets.
  • Conduct research and development on new technologies to support innovative semiconductor processes.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with team members and collaborators.

Qualifications

  • Proven understanding of semiconductor process flow and CMOS device operation.
  • Experience with wafer testing, yield analysis, and data mining techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance yield and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in electrical and physical failure analysis, including the use of relevant test tools.
  • Ability to analyze failure modes and implement successful process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills in product grading and module DPM analysis.
  • Experience in process and product reliability management.
  • Competence in electrical parameter analysis and test program development.
  • Capability to manage deviation materials and solve complex problems.
  • Experience with automation systems for manufacturing process improvement.
  • Data scientist skills for extracting information from data sets.
  • Research and development experience in emerging semiconductor technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
