Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Technical Architect Leader to spearhead the modernization of a mission-critical application for Mining and Construction Industry. This role will drive the transformation of legacy systems into intelligent, scalable, cross deployable and AI-powered platforms. You will lead architectural strategy, design, and execution, integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML & autonomous agents to deliver enhanced operational value and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership:
  • Define and evolve the technical architecture for the modernization.
  • Partner with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Lead end-to-end solution design, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
• AI & Agent Integration:
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI/ML models and intelligent agents to automate decision-making and optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and autonomous workflows.
• Modernization Strategy:
  • Assess legacy systems and define a phased modernization roadmap.
  • Drive migration to microservices, containerization, and infrastructure agnostic deployments.
  • Introduce APIs, event-driven architecture, and real-time data processing.
• Innovation & Value Creation:
  • Partner with product teams to conceptualize and deliver new features that create tangible business value.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends to continuously evolve the platform.
• Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product, operations, and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering leadership.
• Proven experience modernizing large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration and intelligent agent frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Individual should be hands-on with software development.
• Individual should be well versed Gen AI tooling usage in SDLC.
• Experienced with defining architecture and architecture strategy.
• Experience with mining, industrial automation, or heavy equipment software platforms.
• Familiarity with edge computing, IoT, and telemetry data processing.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI/ML.
