Position Grade: Occupational Therapist Level 1/2 (Year1-4)
Salary: $70,994 .00- $101,211.00 base salary per annum

About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Acute Inpatient Mental Health, Caritas Unit.

You will be working in collaboration with the medical, nursing and other members of the allied health team, the OT 1-2 will provide quality, evidence based occupational therapy to consumers accessing our Acute Inpatient Mental Health Service on Caritas Unit.

You also will be working collaboratively with the MDT to address the functional and therapeutic needs of our consumers. Supporting the provision of assessment, treatment, psychological intervention and discharge planning. Whilst also working in the after-hours space in the delivery of a recovery program aiming to reduce restrictive practices.

About you:

Are you a driven and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who possesses Mental Health experience and a desire to enrich the lives of Mental Health consumers to lead a fulfilling and productive recovery?

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Occupational Therapist Grade 1-2 who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who are passionate about the delivery of least restrictive care to consumers accessing acute inpatient mental health services. With astute OT assessment skills and an ability to work effectively as a part of a team. Experience in the delivery of a diverse group program for consumers experiencing acute phases of mental ill health. We pride ourselves on our teamwork - come and join our amazing team!
