The Robotics Focus Applications Business Unit (BU) are advertising a senior Robotics Domain Expert role, with a focus on supporting the growth of the global robotics business. The BU is responsible for expansion of ADI revenue globally in the areas of fixed robots, mobile robots, humanoids, and outdoor robots.
Due to the nature and growth potential of the potential humanoid market, as well as the trend towards intelligent robot grippers, a need has been identified for a senior position, focused on translating market opportunities into technical innovation at Analog Devices. This position will drive revenue growth through technical leadership, ensuring our domain expertise directly impacts business outcomes. This role will be an integral part of the global robotics team and will carry the following key responsibilities:
Work as part of the Differentiated Technology team within the Robotics BU to provide domain and market expertise in the area of humanoid hands and intelligent robot grippers. Work closely with the vertical end market teams within the Robotics BU to understand customer pain points and technical needs in this focused area Work closely with the relevant technology groups and Robotics System Solutions team to accelerate development of ADI system solutions and capabilities in tactile sensing for humanoid hands and robot grippers. Expand ADI domain knowledge in the areas of humanoids, cobots and outdoor robots
Required Profile:
This role requires a customer facing technical leader who excels in collaborative environments, not a traditional engineering manager. Existing domain expertise in robotics is required – preferably with a robot OEM or robot ecosystem manufacturer.
