What You’ll Do:

  • Work with other DS members to identify high-impact opportunities to demonstrate our extensive data to better serve our users 
  • Participate in projects/initiatives to accelerate revenue advancement through disruptive and continuous improvements in various data science models (targeting, approval odds, marketing campaigns, etc.), feature engineering including user profiles and behavior, personalization, etc. 
  • Be a strong contributor in our industry-first data science / machine learning platform for financial institutions, to enable certainty of approval for 100+ million consumers! 
  • Partner with Marketing and engineering teams to ensure proper model adoption and tests. Be able to identify opportunities to iterate models based on business needs. 
  • Participate research efforts with other team members to explore the frontiers of Deep Learning, Recommender systems, and other areas, as they apply to Personal Finance

Minimum Basic Requirement: 

  • Advanced Degree (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/ME/Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related quantitative discipline 
  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/ME with 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning and related areas, with Fintech companies. Or PhD graduates in Finance or Data Science with a strong analytical background.
  • 3+ years of experience programming skills in Python commercially (mandatory). 
  • 3+ years of experience Knowledge of PySpark, google cloud platform (GCP) and Scala will be plus.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • You possess experience with Finance data (credit record data, loan underwriting) and familiar with data quality control and governance in the financial field. 
  • Ambitious, results oriented, hardworking and creative thinker
  • Authoritative knowledge of Python, R and SQL, as well as ML systems such as TensorFlow, Torch, etc.
  • You have experience with advanced modeling techniques and Machine learning techniques in production and knowledge of maintaining and ramping these variants. 
  • You have experience with A/B tests and solid analytical skills and communication skills. 
  • You have various techniques in Deep Learning and Experimentation a plus 
  • You have optimizing business outcomes in hyper-growth Internet companies (predictive science, ad yield management, marketplaces, etc) a huge plus
