About the Role

This is one of the most meaningful opportunities to drive significant transformation and long lasting impact on the business at Workday, requiring a passionate, positive, and encouraging leader with strong working ethics, focus and perseverance.   Reporting to the GVP, Global Partner Management, the Director, Partner & Channel Management leads our regional partner management team comprising all global SI's (System Integrators), regional SI's, staffing partners, and advisory partners.  They will manage cross-functional engagement in programs, systems, processes, and people.  This position plays a critical role in driving rapid and intentional change within the organization and influences the implementation of a modern ecosystem and a unified global partner strategy.

This role will affect and influence cross-functional teams in Sales, Operations, Customer and Marketing. The role will require you to share, discuss and agree shared goals and execution dependencies that are of strategic importance for the success of the partner organization.

Key Responsibilities

●      Delivering winning partner engagements.  The focus will be on time, scale, and route to market, aligning with operational goals and core values.

●      You will play a critical role in driving rapid and intentional change within the organization, and be responsible for influencing the implementation of a modern ecosystem and a unified global partner strategy and prioritizing achieving operational goals through effective partner engagements.  

●      Achieving excellence in execution and delivery within specified timelines, collaborating with various functions, and ensuring alignment with overarching objectives in programs, systems, processes, and people.

●      This position will have a heavy focus on cross-functional alignment, prioritization, best-practices, and strategic planning.

●      Refining, aligning, and implementing the partner strategy to build and grow our presence and client impact across all key market segments and geographies.

●      Building a collaborative model with our field organizations corporate to instill a partner aware approach and demeanour across the company.

●      Tracking, measuring, and reporting partner contribution against targets and adjust programs and strategies as necessary.

●      Understand our partners' businesses and develop strategies and incentives to increase profitability through our partnership.

●      Partnering with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive partner-initiated leads, pipeline, and deal progression.

●      Ability to strategically identify and build key relationships with partners including Service Providers, Global SIs, Resellers, Distributors, and other technology partners.

About You

Basic Qualifications

●      10+ years of experience in commercial roles, with several years in SaaS

●      5+ years in management roles, leading cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment, particularly around GTM efforts

Other Qualifications

●      Experience in developing partnerships, particularly working with SIs and ISVs

●      Able to communicate effectively with internal teams for clarity and cohesion, as well as externally, with partners and customer

●      Highly structured with strong analytical skills, willing to take action, pragmatic approach to execution

●      Willing to occasionally travel internationally
