We’re looking for a Senior People Partner to join our People & Culture team and work closely with leaders across our St Vincent’s Care at Home programs. Operating with an innovative mindset inside one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health organisations, you will be a trusted advisor, helping leaders build high‑performing, engaged teams, navigating the full spectrum of people and culture priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to deliver strategic and operational P&C support across workforce planning, organisational design, performance and culture.
  • Provide expert advice on ER/IR matters, including performance and conduct case management and investigations.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and help shape a people‑centred approach to transformation.
  • Collaborate with specialist P&C teams to deliver seamless employee experiences, including onboarding, development, engagement and DEI initiatives.
  • Analyse workforce metrics to inform strategy, support operational excellence and drive evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Support leaders to build capability, drive performance and foster a positive culture.

Things that work for us:

  • Demonstrated experience in a People Partnering role within a complex environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment and industrial relations and confidence advising leaders on sensitive people matters.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a relationship building style enabling you to influence, collaborate and coach key stakeholders on people & culture best practice.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement, curiosity and adaptability.
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience in health, community, virtual care or aged care environments or a background in not-for-profit or mission-driven organisations is desirable.
  • Digital literacy and comfort with virtual care technologies and experience supporting hybrid and remote teams.

Things that work for you:

  • Opportunity to work for the nation’s largest Catholic not-for-profit health and aged care provider, with a rapidly growing and progressive vision.
  • More take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annum.
  • Be part of a supportive, state leadership team with a great community spirit, where you can grow professionally and make a genuine impact.
  • Join an organisation where staff feedback largely indicates they feel respected, desire to stay working with our organisation and are confident in management’s leadership.
  • Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families.
  • Access to the Fitness Passport (FP) and more!

At St Vincent’s we value inclusivity and diversity and acknowledge the importance of creating a work environment that is welcoming, safe, fair and impartial and invites people from all backgrounds to join us.
