Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of.

Who We Are…

When we say, “the stuff dreams are made of,” we’re not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth. Behind WBD’s vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating what’s next…

From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves. Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.

Your New Role…

As a Key Account Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery's Ad Sales department, your primary job is selling ad sales solutions to your named client portfolio. This includes spot, brand care and digital sales. Main measurement of your success is your own annual sales budget that’s divided into monthly targets. The job description places high demands on activity and you spend majority of your time meeting and communicating with customers and media agencies. You work responsibly and independently with great personal integrity towards your own budget and other set KPIs.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Reaching your goals and succeeding in your role otherwise requires:

  • Being in charge of a named client portfolio.
  • Making and executing short- and long-term plans for your media agencies and advertisers.
  • Building, developing and maintaining relationships to different stakeholders in your portfolio.
  • Being a “TV and streaming ambassador” for advertisers to help them reach their goals with the best solutions whether it’s spot advertising, brand care or impressions in streaming.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Demonstratable results of achieving (and even going over) your sales goals.
  • Prior experience from media sales thus knowing the industry (especially TV).
  • Understanding of the dynamics between advertisers and media agencies.
  • Being a team player that likes being around various kinds of people and who knows that reaching goals, whether individual or team, requires teamwork.
  • Used to working according to specified processes and can work efficiently even when you have several different tasks on your desk.
  • Ability to analyse and prioritize things to make sure you’re always seeing the forest for the trees.
  • Ability to present yourself and WBD in a convincing way whether it’s internally or externally to advertisers/media agency.
  • English language skills, both orally and in writing, are at a level where you can communicate with your foreign colleagues and clients mainly in the Nordic region.

The Key Account Manager works in a dynamic and developing work environment in an industry that is constantly changing. To support your work, you have an experienced organization, fantastic colleagues, a strong brand and a well-developed sales process and methodology around you.

Your workplace is in our office in Helsinki. As always in sales, meetings with clients and people internally are a big part of the job meaning that you need to be at the office on a weekly level.

How We Get Things Done…

This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/  along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day. We hope they resonate with you and look forward to discussing them during your interview.
