The Employee Relations Specialist II supports a multi-site organization by helping to create an inclusive, performance-driven culture. This role manages employee concerns, conducts investigations, and provides guidance to leaders on best practices for managing performance. You will partner with managers and teammates to resolve issues, improve processes, and contribute to a positive employee experience.
Act as a liaison between employees and management to address and resolve employee relations issues
Receive and manage employee concerns and complaints, escalating complex situations as needed
Advise managers on HR policies, people practices, and employment laws, supporting their development as effective leaders
Assist with performance and disciplinary documentation, coaching managers, and preparing for employee conversations
Support the exit process, including conducting exit interviews, gathering feedback, and reporting trends to the business
Develop Employee Relations reports, dashboards, and monthly summaries to monitor trends and metrics
Identify operational and service gaps in Employee Relations processes and recommend improvements
Leverage data to inform decisions and focus efforts on key employee experience initiatives
3–5 years of HR experience, preferably with a focus on employee relations
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to partner with managers and employees to influence outcomes and encourage adoption of best practices
Facilitation and conflict resolution skills to manage disputes and guide conversations effectively
Experience with HRIS systems and basic reporting preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
