Essential Job Functions:

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve usage discrepancies

Job Duties:
Complete and return all required documentation (e.g., ingredient log and requisitions, Usage, etc.)
Ensure correct ingredients are at the production line prior to start-up and throughout day
Complete HU (handling unit bar code) ingredient and material tracking form
Conduct all daily required audits (e.g., scale, box count, etc.)
Complete daily discrepancy reports
Collect, calculate, enter and monitor daily usage of ingredients
Conduct, coordinate and lead waste analysis studies for the reduction of material loss
Facilitate month end closing for production area
Ensure returns and consumptions in SAP PSA accuracy
Manage upkeep and 5S standards in area
Attend daily/weekly R&R meetings as necessary
May perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
PIT Certified
Knowledge of GMP’s
Knowledge of inventory computer system
Knowledge of the 5S concept
Knowledge of spreadsheets, i.e. usage spreadsheets, target vs. actual spreadsheets
Knowledge of basic finance
Understanding of loss
Ability to work with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Minimum 6 months production or related experience.
