The Clinical Value Analyst is responsible for leading supply expense management initiatives through a structured, evidence-based value analysis process. This role ensures that product and service decisions balance clinical effectiveness, operational efficiency, and financial stewardship. The analyst partners with clinicians, supply chain leaders, and key stakeholders to standardize product utilization, optimize total cost of ownership, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position also oversees product evaluations, backorders, recalls, and substitutions, ensuring a proactive and coordinated response to supply disruptions. Through clinical insight and data-driven analysis, the analyst advances Inspirity’s mission to achieve sustainable value and continuous improvement across the care delivery environment.Job Description
Essential Functions
The Clinical Value Analyst leads initiatives that align clinical excellence with operational and financial performance. This role partners with clinicians, supply chain leaders, and vendors to evaluate, standardize, and optimize products and services that advance quality care and sustainable value.
• Value Analysis Leadership: Lead and coordinate the value analysis process to ensure product and service decisions support clinical effectiveness, operational efficiency, and financial goals.
• Clinical Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to evaluate new technology, products, and equipment for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Supply Standardization: Drive systemwide standardization of products and services through data-driven evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based recommendations.
• Cost Management: Identify, analyze, and implement cost reduction and expense management initiatives that maintain or enhance clinical outcomes.
• Product Management: Oversee the resolution of product issues, recalls, and backorders to ensure continuity of patient care and compliance with safety standards.
• Data Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics to monitor utilization trends, measure outcomes, and provide actionable insights to support supply expense management.
• Project Management: Lead and support initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication among clinicians, supply chain, and vendors to align decisions with institutional priorities and maintain strong collaborative relationships.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine processes to enhance value analysis efficiency, transparency, and measurable results.
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Science, or a related discipline preferred.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of seven years in a clinical or progressively responsible role within a diverse and operationally complex healthcare environment. Experience in cost containment, expense management, and value analysis preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Proven program planning, project management, and performance improvement experience.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, including experience presenting to physicians, clinicians, and administrators.
• Demonstrated problem-resolution capabilities and ability to build consensus across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with supply chain systems.
• Understanding of supply chain operations and ability to effectively collaborate with vendors and external partners.
