Your Team: This role reports to the Sales Director.

While developing your plans, you will enhance your negotiation and sales skills, as well as your financial, marketing, analytical, and logistical knowledge. Responsibilities of the role:
Sales Fundamentals: • Examine the fundamentals of territory business and sales to pinpoint potential opportunities and generate action plans to bridge any gaps identified. • Take charge of In-market selling to Distributors and delivery of monthly priorities • Examine the company's operations and daily reports to find areas for improvement in line with stewardship principles. • Create an execution strategy and promote initiatives for the region.
Partnership to win the customer:
• Work on Joint business planning to create regional business plans with the distributor
• Plan, sell, carry out, and evaluate initiative plans.
• Develop, communicate, and evaluate demand forecast and supply plan.
• Effectively develop teams and lead people
Quality Market Coverage:
• Driving the Go to Market initiatives as per the quality standards, generate the desired level of productivity and SBD.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate retail execution programs.
• Have an excellent understanding of the local market and travel
Service Improvement:
• Work closely with P&G and Customer teams to make sure that services are improved, while also ensuring that inventory is handled efficiently.
Building BIC Sales Organization:
• Review the business by participating in Cluster Meetings and lay out priorities of the month to achieve the goals.
• Develop superior category expertise and a thorough understanding of consumer decision-making.
• Plan, implement, and review a personal development plan with your manager to develop your SALES core competencies and experiences, specifically your selling skills.
• Help the distributor organization with their selling skills as and when required.
Job Qualifications
Role Requirements:
• Up to 5 years of sales experience, with 2-3 years of that experience working in FMCG sales.
• Must be a graduate in any discipline and have post-graduation in management (preferably marketing or sales).
• Promotes services as well as products portfolio to customers directly.
• Knowledge of the FMCG retail landscape in the territory.
• Value creation through questioning, objection handling and negotiation.
• Has prior experience in market research.
• Know the local language.
• Great teammate and an effective communicator
• Good understanding of marketing and sales planning and strategy
• Excellent analytical skills and should know how to create and deliver data-driven plans.
• Strong sense of integrity, with the courage to do what’s right.
