About the Role

To support the efficient and customer-centric management of life/health insurance claims and hospital network operations. This role ensures timely claims processing, maintains strong relationships with healthcare providers, and upholds service excellence in line with AIA’s brand promise.

Claims Management

  • Review and process life and health insurance claims in accordance with policy terms and internal guidelines.
  • Coordinate with medical assessors and underwriting teams for complex cases.
  • Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and ensure claims are settled within agreed timelines.
  • Handle customer and provider inquiries related to claims with professionalism and empathy.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide clear explanations regarding claim decisions, including declined claims or requests for additional documentation.
  • Support fraud detection and prevention initiatives.

Hospital Network Operations

  • Assist in onboarding and credentialing of new hospitals and clinics into the AIA provider network.
  • Maintain updated records of network providers and ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Monitor provider performance and service quality through audits and feedback.
  • Facilitate negotiations and renewals of provider contracts under guidance from the manager.
  • Manage cashless claim payments to healthcare providers, ensuring settlement is completed within the timeline specified in the contractual agreement.
  • Resolve operational issues between AIA and network hospitals to ensure smooth service delivery.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on claims trends, provider performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to claims and provider management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, insurance, business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in health insurance claims or provider network management.
  • Familiarity with health insurance products and hospital billing systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
